Writing on the Window

Whoa, okay, I’m trying out this new Windows Live Writer which will allow me to publish entries without having to log in. That’s great because I am that lazy. That was sarcasm, by the way. But no, really. This is good because when I’m doing homework, I don’t open up a web browser so that I don’t get horribly distracted, but not horribly bored too. And sometimes, the web browser is CRAZY lagging, so that’s partly the reason why I haven’t been writing anything lately.

Today and yesterday was awesome! Well, yesterday, I told Tiger that we should go karaoke today. And he said yeah, he will come. Then at night, I went over to Min Jeong’s house and entered with the first sight of Tiger in his pink polo shirt and a Hello Kitty apron. I wasn’t sure how to react, so I just said, “Oh sorry, wrong house” and left. XD I came back in and Min Jeong and I tried so hard to get a photo of him with his housewife get-up, but he kept moving too fast for the cameras to capture a decent photo. Damnit, that mustard. XDD He made ramyon and he made me eat some, even though I told him that I already ate and I don’t want any. But he said he made it so that I can have some and it did look good, so I ate a little bit and then ate a bunch of kim chee. XD I frikkin LOVE kim chee. After that, Minji came over and we all talked about random stuff and then Tiger just started napping on the ground cuz he was so full. Hahaha, I got a photo of it too. ;D That stupid dumbass. Then when it was time to wash dishes, he put on the Hello Kitty apron again and I got an AWESOME shot of him with his outfit and his face! So I had it as a wallpaper cuz it’s just too hilarious not to. But later on, Tiger was looking through my phone without me knowing and deleted them. :( Damnit, they were great… Then, Dong Young (or rather, Ojii-san) came and we all played Wii. I kicked all their asses at Wii tennis. Ahahaha.

Today, Tiger was saying how he doesn’t wanna go karaoke and he isn’t going to. But JinWon agreed to come. So I was bummed because I really did want to karaoke, especially since JinWon said he wanted to (gogo shin!!) but Tiger was being a butthead. Somehow though, JinWon convinced him to come. XD Yes! Min Jeong had a yoga class, so the plan was to meet at the Korean bar/restaurant at 7 in the city. JinWon made it clear that he wants us to come at exactly 7 and so I tried my best to get there on time. However, when I went to pick Min Jeong up, her neighbor was having trouble with the large trashbin filled with outdoor waste stuff. It must’ve been filled with just soil cuz it was SO heavy… I helped her out and got myself very muddy. OTL I just showered too! Damnit. Then we made our way to Japantown and got there 3 minutes late. But the boys were mad at us for some reason I couldn’t understand. Was it really a big deal to be 3 minutes late? But that wasn’t it. Apparently, Min Jeong kept saying she’s on her way when really, she was at home. XDD We ate a bunch of Korean food. Ah, dija. Then we went to karaoke. That was so crazy great. Dija dija!! And damn, the Korean boys are so hella good at singing, it makes me want to cry. But all they sing are the extremely sad love songs. Wtf. We sang some epic songs together though. Like Hitomi wo Tojite, Driver’s High, Clumsy, Girlfriend, and Bounce With Me. XDD Hey hey you you, I don’t like your girlfriend Mustard mustard, No it’s not a secret, Crispy crispy, I could be your girlfriend… XD Ah, DIJA! Chuego. I have no idea if I’m spelling it right, but whatever. BOUNCE WITH ME BOUNCE WITH ME BOUNCE WITH ME BOUNCE!!! Wow, if only more people could’ve come. But that was… DIJA!

Alright, time to go to bed. I have Astronomy tomorrow with JinWon-senpai and Ojii-san and then I have to bother Tiger-chan about finding him a girlfriend and finding me a boyfriend. XDDD

Malignant

I’ve always liked how the word, “malignant” sounds. I know it’s not really a nice word, but I swear I’m not emo and I only like it for how it sounds.

Anyway, my dad randomly said he wants me to read a certain book. Now, the times he’s tried to get me to read a specific book, it has not gone well. (The first time was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I really don’t like happy fantasy children’s books, even when I was a kid and I ended up ripping the pages out so that it’d be pointless to read. The second time was The Catcher in the Rye and this was when I was still in elementary school. I gave up after the 5th page and didn’t want to touch it until I had to read it in high school.) I asked what book and he presented me with a bilingual book of the truth behind the Nanking Massacre. I kinda paused and thought, “What the fucking hell. This is completely random…” I asked him why he brings this up and he said, “Well, every single Japanese person and anyone else who knows about the different views of the Nanking Massacre should read this book and learn that the Nanking Massacre did not happen to the extent that people are accusing. And don’t you remember that you asked me about it?” I looked at him with a confused expression and asked him when. He said back when I was in elementary school. Wtf. I was one complicated kid.

Well, that’s all really. I should sleep.

Mustard

Ahahaha, I love hanging out with the Koreans. They are such awesome people. And of all people, I did not expect to have so many inside jokes with them. Ah, it cracks me up.

DUMBASS! You mustard… #6, crispy with barbecue sauce. If it costs 50 cents, then just get ketchup. I eat deformed baby toes. I like them crispy. Get down and give me 20… Oh, just a hundred? Well, okay.

Astronomy test! It went alright. I think I did pretty well. Ojiisan and JinWon had an alright time. Well, actually, it seemed like there were quite a few questions that Ojiisan didn’t do so well on. XD Sucks for him. We just chilled and talked in the cafeteria until they had to go to Psychology class. JinWon has such a cool kanji name… Why did mine have to be written the way it is? Oh well.

I worked on my Stats homework until around 11, but I really didn’t feel like going to art class. The teacher already knows I’m feeling kinda sick, so I was trying to bank on that to ditch the class and go out to lunch with the Asians instead.

We ate out at Robata for lunch. That was great. I got the Poki Salad and apparently, JinWon really loves cucumbers, so he asked if he could have one. I said sure and then JinWon quickly and violently went for the cucumber slices… But he couldn’t pick it up… XDD It didn’t make sense because Korean people use the impossible metal chopsticks. Then he threw down the wooden ones as if they were bad and then went for a second and third and fourth try… XD Then I offered him the rest of my cucumbers and he quickly went for them, but still couldn’t pick them up very well. Ahahaha. Then he noticed the lemon slice for the saba yaki he already ate. We all kind of looked at it and poked around at it for no reason. Tiger had way too much food and holy damn, he actually finished it all. Beautiful. Chi was starting to come down with the flu and that sucked. :( We dropped JinWon off at his amazing Tiburon house and then noticed that he forgot his cell phone in the car while we were driving to COM. XD Then Tiger was like, “So, it’s just you and me in the back. ;D” and I rolled down the window and yelled for JinWon to help me because Tiger is creepy. XDD

Back at school, I tried to finish up my art project and then went to Statistics class. Ugh, that didn’t go very well because I still don’t really get the material and this is just the first four chapters! Shit man, I’m so screwed for the test this Thursday… Which reminds me, how am I going to find time to study for Statistics and finish my art project… Man, I’m so fucked.

I was so tired after Statistics, I just slept in my car from 4 to 6. I decided to drop Kanji class because I don’t have time to study and do the homework for that class. I still want to drop by every once in a while, just to learn some kanji stuff, but I just don’t have time to worry about being graded for the shit. This time, I remembered to stash a blanket in my car and I didn’t sleep all that well, but hey, it was sleep nonetheless. Haha, I felt like such a hobo, but thank God my car windows are tinted so no one could really tell I was sleeping in the back unless they were being weird creeps and looked really carefully through the windows. Then I went to Japanese class and that was so incredibly boring. I need to catch up on the homework.

Okay, time to sleep… Tomorrow is Speech and then Astronomy lab. Hopefully the weather will be well enough to go to the observation…

Otaku Attack

Today at work, this really creepy nerdy guy came in the restaurant and I dunno, he’s just VERY otaku. I sat him down at the end of the counter and then he says, “I don’t want to sound rude but…” and I was expecting him to say something like, “You don’t need to sit me at the end of the counter just because I have a laptop” or something. But actually, he’s like, “You’re very beautiful. You remind me of a classmate I used to know. But I think you’re beautiful. I hope that wasn’t rude… I don’t want to be rude.” And I paused cuz I was totally thrown off. Then I just said thanks and he wasn’t being rude. Then I walked away.

HE WAS SO FUCKING CREEPY. Ewww… Apparently, he never leaves a tip. Wow, what a fucking douchebag. Creepy and a moron. Gross. I hope he never comes in again.

Anyway, I have an Astronomy test tomorrow, but I’m very sleepy… I think I’ll take a nap and then study.

Shioyaki

Today was interesting, to say the least. Min Jeong got her license today! :D Woo!!

Work was okay. Kinda boring. It felt weird because I didn’t do a lot of the routine things I do because I had to re-write the specials board.

Miss Tomoko came to the restaurant today and got hooked into a very strange conversation with a regular customer. XD And then JinWon came to the restaurant too! I was so surprised. I have seen him everyday for the past week or something. Haha, but that made me happy. :) He’s become one of my best friends in such a short amount of time.

Ah, what a beautiful day! Oh, regardless of it being Valentine’s Day. I had a great day at school!

Last night, I stayed up really late and made chocolates. I suppose I should explain why. JinWon texted me about what I’m doing for Valentine’s and I said I’m not doing anything special because I don’t have anyone special to spend it with. And then I asked him if he’s doing anything and he said no for the same reasons, but he wants chocolates because he genuinely loves chocolates. XD Then, not even half a moment later, Tiger texts me and says, “Hey, I think I like chocolates.” And I was like, “…Uh, okay. You’re creepy.” But I sat and thought about how these two Korean boys wanted chocolate from a girl on Valentine’s Day. So at 11PM, I went out, bought supplies, came home and handmade chocolates until about 4AM. XD

I can’t believe stores don’t sell plain white chocolate anymore. Jesus Christ.

Today at school, I gave the first chocolate to JinWon. He was so happy. He had bought chocolates for himself because he was expecting not to get any. He was showing it off to everyone and it made me laugh and it was great to watch. Then as I was walking to art class, I see Tiger, standing and waiting and immediately asks, “Where is my chocolate?” XDD He didn’t think I actually got one for him, but I gave him one of the ones I made and he was so happy. He showed that off too. But of course, JinWon had the better one.

I got the whole Valentine thing going, soon after, I think JinWon was lecturing the girls who didn’t give him chocolates even though he shared his Korean chocolate snacks, so more girls went out to buy chocolates and gave them away. But I think I’m the only special one because mine is the only one that was handmade. XDD

Well, the day was much more awesome and complete, but I’m tired. I’ll talk about it another time. Later!

Haha, some awesome stuff has happened over the past couple days.

Sunday was Min-Jeong’s birthday as well as the Superbowl. We went to Outback Steakhouse for her birthday dinner and people were crowded around the TV to watch the game. Our table was kinda far, so I had to switch seats to get a view. Then Hau, a dude who was in my art class and math class back in high school, came. I was so surprised! I never really was close to him or anything, but I’ve always had the feeling that he’d be an awesome friend. And I was right! I was cheering for the Patriots and he was cheering for the Giants. We had a good time arguing who was gonna win. Unfortunately, he was right. :( Goddamnit. But that’s okay. Then we all had fun poking at his lack of intelligence. Or “intelligency” as he had worded it. XD

Afterwards, we went to the city to get some bubble tea and Chi and Phuong wanted more food. God, Hau and I were gonna explode. The way there, he borrowed my glasses since he left his in Japan. It’s sad to hear that he has to go back tomorrow because he has a very small time off from the Navy. But I’m jealous that he gets to go to Japan because I wanna go back there again. Anyway, yeah, Hau is a very fascinating man. I’m gonna miss him.

Today at school, I ran into a lot of people I actually know and don’t hate. XD One of them was Alex! My old co-worker from Borders! The one who swore he’d never go back to COM… That douchebag. Anyway, we talked a long while about life and shit. He still has my mangas. His hair is long now and he looks much more retro. Haha, aw, I missed him so much. Then I saw that Lu goes to COM now. What the hell is up with these people from high school who originally went to a bigger college? Are they getting expelled or on suspension? Oh well.

Work wasn’t as bad as I had thought. Joe looked horrible because he was partying too hard yesterday and he was getting really worn out. So I took care of a table for him. It was the first time I had full responsibility over a table. It wasn’t hard. And Fred wasn’t a jerk today. He was pretty chill. We even had a CONVERSATION. Amazing.

Tips were average until Joe gave me tips from the table I took care of. I didn’t do it to get the money, but it was really nice of him. I showed Toshiya-san the Rip Slyme PV of I.N.G. while I was closing sales and we both agree that they’re AWESOME. XD

Anyway, I should sleep now. Ugh, this week is gonna suck.
