Re:

Uh, someone left me quite a hateful comment the other day.

YA-HA!

Your a dumb piece of shit! You probably dreamt of visiting and going to Japan too like everybody else! But you think since your Japanese and Korean that your the only special one that can go to this country. You just like all this Asian crap because your Asian! Like you really know everything about Japanese culture. Stop having so much pride in your fucking race and culture of all things! And you probably think your not a racist because your Asian!

…Wow. Doesnt even know me and spouts this out.

COINCIDENTALLY, I`m in Japan.

And why the hell not have pride in my ethnicity? Unless I purposely go around saying all other ethnicities suck, then I dont know what is wrong with having some pride in who I am.

Anyway, Im in Yokohama right now, at the net cafe again. But alas, running out of time.

Matsu

22 07 2007

Yeah, if you play RO, you’d know that Matsu is the name of my Monk. I named her after a good friend of mine in Japan named Matsu. Though, everyone just calls her Matchan. Well anyway, I’m at her house right now, using her internet. I feel a bit rude just using her internet, but she’s been busy looking at her cell phone… XD

Today’s been a pretty boring day, I haven’t really done anything. Yesterday, I went to Shibuya with Mily and shopped like CRAZY. XD It was pretty awesome. And then Mily and I sleptover at Matchan’s house and watched Saw 3. It was pretty grotesque, but the story sucks.

Tomorrow, I think I’m gonna go to Yokohama with Matchan and shop again. Hahaha. Shopping is fun… :P But I don’t think I’m gonna buy too many things cuz I’m not too into Japanese trendy fashion. I mean, it looks pretty, but I don’t look good in it. If Mily doesn’t have work tomorrow, maybe she can come too, except she doesn’t have money… XD I’m pretty sure she does have work though. Mai’s gone on an art school trip. And hanging out with Nico and Kenta is pretty lame.

I have all of my Japan entries on my laptop, so I don’t have anything else to say here that the stuff on my laptop doesn’t have…

Man, I’ve been going on the internet more often than I thought I would.

I still need to go to Ueno, Suidobashi, and perhaps to the Miyazaki Hayao art show in Tokyo.

MANCHESTER UNITED IS IN JAPAN. CRISTIANO RONALDO IS IN JAPAN. If I have the chance, I want to meet him and get his autograph…

Goddamn, he’s all over TV and he’s SO hot…

Yokoso

im in japan right now and this goddamn keyboard sucks. I have to frikkin punch the spacebar for it to work… its like tap tap clickity click PUNCH tap tap tap…

anyway i had some pasta at a confusing restaurant a little while ago. it looked like a sit-down restaurant but we seated ourselves and we had numbers for the waitresses to bring food to us. i mean, theres several restaurants like that back home, but i dont see it that much here especially next to fancy restaurants.

nico bought a bacon tomato sandwich and a `chilldog`. but they were small so he ate them very quickly. my pasta came a little late, so nico was yelling at me to not eat like a granny. :( haha my pasta was so good though.

i want a crepe… its crepe day! discounted crepes huzzah!

okay i have nothing else significant to say.

Nippon!

16 07 2007

Okay, so it’s frikkin almost 5AM.

But I’ll be leaving for Japan in a couple hours.

I won’t have internet connection unless I go to an internet cafe, which I think I will do once a week.

I’ll be gone until August 7th.

So, I hope everyone is enjoying their summers! Take care everyone! :) Talk to you all later in a couple weeks!

Yul Kwon’s #1 Fan

13 07 2007

Oh my God… Earlier today, my dad called me over to the living room. I came and he showed me a commercial about bone marrow donation. I thought my dad had noticed my bone marrow donation pamphlet and was showing me this commercial to educate me about it. But no, it was actually because Yul Kwon was in the commercial! (You can watch the commercial here) Haha, it was awesome! I jumped when I saw Yul and immediately went to my room to try emailing him one more time. This was around midnight.

I was just messing around on the internet because I was bored and Shane went to bed. And I saw that I had an email in my inbox. Since Gmail refreshes itself every once in a while, I leap to my emails when I get a new one so I can go on with the rest of whatever I was doing. So, when I saw that “Inbox [1]” on the title of my Gmail tabbed browser, I was expecting that it was another notice from Facebook or HarrisPoll or something…

GOD SMILED UPON ME AND IT WAS ACTUALLY FROM FRIKKIN YUL KWON.

YUL REPLIED TO MY EMAIL.

Dude, I was SO happy! He’s such a busy guy and I knew that was the reason why he hadn’t been able to reply to my other emails. (I only sent 3 others, I’m not an insane creepy stalker…) It really felt so awesome to hear back from him! Really, I was so happy that my most favorite hero, role model, celebrity, and spokesperson replied back to me!

I’m keeping this email to myself because it has such great value to me, but I’ll let you in on one part that he wrote that really inspired me.

“I love your painting – I actually have it up on my mantelpiece in my apartment, and whenever any of my friends see it, they always comment on what a great job you did”

He actually has it displayed at his place?! My painting?! Yul likes my little overnight pencil and watercolor painting?! Man… I’m so honored! Thank you to Yul for liking my painting! And thank you to all of his friends who complimented it as well!

I’m gonna work hard to accomplish great things in my life! Life is too short to be lazy, you gotta go out and do all that you can!

Thank you so much, Yul!

Signed,
Your #1 Fan

Soccer Madness

10 07 2007

Well, it seems like the Asian Cup has started. I really wish I could watch… :( Next week though, it will be on and I will be in Japan to watch it! :) Haha, yes… SOCCER. I’ve been on a really bad World Cup withdrawal this summer… Just staring at my soccer magazines… Doodling soccer players in random places… Like on Vinh’s graffiti wall…

gennarogattuso.png

…Yeah. BUT NEXT WEEK, SOCCER MADNESS.

Isn’t that crazy? I’ll be in Japan in one week. It hasn’t hit me yet. I think I’m getting too used to it. But 3 hours before I leave, I’m crazy anxious and excited.

Anyway, I’ve been thinking about not taking History class in the Fall so that I can manage going to Japanese class and not committing suicide. Cuz it’d be really awesome, all of my classmates from Japanese 102 and Shiota-sensei picking on me because I already know Japanese… But oh well. I’m also thinking of taking Soccer class instead of Aerobics. Marsha might be mad at me because I said I’ll take her class, but soccer would fit into my schedule better. The bad thing is, I, uh, don’t really play soccer. But um, it never specified that you had to be experienced… Though I have a feeling it’ll be embarrassing.

Soccersoccersoccersoccersoccersoccer…

God, I love soccer. I wish I could play soccer.

Damn, I have a lot of commissions to work on.

And damn, it’s almost 5AM.

Gifts

7 07 2007

Haha, I was cleaning my online storage and found my old Wishlist. I think I made this in the holiday season last year. I edited it, but I’m sure there’s other things I want, but can’t think of.

I am 90% certain that more than 75% of the items listed will be bought by myself. XD

I think tomorrow, I will make a page on the stuff I am planning to sell. So, if you like anime merchandise and mangas or know of anyone who does, check back tomorrow! :D

Limited Int’l Calling?

6 07 2007

I don’t like renting phones in Japan, so I’ve been researching how I will be able to get service from my own cell phone with Cingular or AT&T or whatever the fuck they are now. (MAKE UP YOUR MINDS.)

And basically, 99% of the phones listed on Cingular.com (wireless.att.com?) are not compatible with the 2100Mhz 3G WCDMA/UMTS frequency in Japan. What the goddamn hell, I thought we were getting somewhere with technology!! So, now, I either buy a BlackJack, Cingular (AT&T?) 8525, or PalmOne Treo 750. And all of them are the frikkin ugly palm pilot phones. Not to mention, extremely expensive. Ugh. I’m not sure what to do. I looked on GSMArena.com and there’s a nice list of 3G phones, but I dunno if they’re Cingular compatible. I don’t even know how the whole unlocked/code cracking thing works to make it compatible with other networks…

I remembered my cousin telling me that Vodaphone is trying to encourage people to buy from them because they’re work worldwide. So I looked up Vodaphone in the US, since it’s primarily a service in the UK and Asia, but I found out it’s Verizon and Verizon sucks over here, so screw that.

I figure I won’t be able to call Japan from my phone this year. So, I think I have a couple realistic options.

1. Wait until my contract expires in May of 2008 and then get a nice online deal on a BlackJack, AT&T (Cingular?) 8525, or PalmOne Treo 750 with a two year contract.
2. Find a phone that I actually want on GSMArena.com with the 3G feature, buy it from some kind of source and see if Cingular can make it compatible with their network.
3. Pester Cingular on the phone and try to get to the bottom of this.

If anyone knows anything about cell phones, especially in regards to the 3G/UMTS/WCDMA 2100 (aka, calling in Japan), I’d GREATLY appreciate any advice/input/info/anything because I don’t know what to do… :( I just want to be able to make phone calls while I’m in Japan.
