Okay, the entry prior to this was just art-related.

I love Kare Kano. I totally need to find the mangas. Aiyah, 21 volumes… Hmmm. WAIT A MINUTE, it JUST ended last year?! Holy crap, it’s not as old as I thought it was! Well, at cheapest, I could buy the whole series for… 2,100 yen, if they’re considered 100 yen mangas. But the last 7 or so volumes might be more expensive… Damnit.

I went shopping yesterday. With the clothes I have now, I would not survive winter. So I got more warm clothing and I got my first pair of Converse shoes! I love them!

DENSHA OTOKO DELUXE!! Moe~!!! XD Hahaha, man, I love Densha Otoko. The drama is getting really ridiculous and unrealistic. But whatever, it’s still hella funny. And I love Densha Otoko x Hermes! ;_; It’s so cute. The manga’s better though, since that version is actually closer to the real story. The beginning of today’s episode was kinda true though. There has been an otaku boom after Densha Otoko and people, otaku or trendy, flood Akihabara to observe the otaku culture and take pictures and whatnot. I’m guilty of doing that. :( Apparently, otakus feel invaded. Sorry!

I don’t really have midterms. Which is awesome. Psych… Haha, hell no. English, my teacher’s more of a lazy bum than the students. Tennis… How could you have a midterm in tennis? Art, she just checks that you did all the required work so far. And Japanese… Huh, do we have one?

It’s so cold.

It’s funny how all this crap could happen and you feel so stupid and lost. And one simple thing brightens up your day and you feel so happy.

Matsushima Mouko

I’m trying to get my Void character, Matsushima Mouko, going.

Huzzah for Kabuki! This will be his win image.

I feel kinda stupid for doing this in CG. I should’ve watercolored it. But then again, CG makes things very easy due to layers and undo. But it’s so time consuming! And I hate how since the canvas is such a huge size, you gotta pay attention to little tiny things. Plus, I don’t know how to CG very well. :\ Perhaps I’ll do his intro in watercolors.

Anyway, I would like feedback on his story. I am not a writer, not even the slightest bit, so any comment or constructive criticism would be helpful.

Matsushima Mouko is one of the top Kabuki actors in Japan and what makes him so famous is that he’s at a professional level at such a young age. He’s only 24 years old, yet he is very famous. He was born into a Kabuki family and so, that is probably a huge factor in his rise to success. However, that also causes some problems for him. He seems to be a natural at it, so he doesn’t practice and even if he does, he doesn’t take it seriously. His young age causes him to be reckless and he often parties and goes out, spending his money on luxuries and etc. His father is ashamed and angered by this, but he can’t kick him out because he is such a star and he is his own son. To kick him out would ruin his reputation, but also, letting him continue with his celebrity lifestyle would also ruin the Kabuki troupe’s name. So, while they are on a tour, they perform in Void City. The troupe leaves while Mouko is at an interview. Mouko is stuck in Void City with only his costumes and props and cannot return to Japan until he starts over his Kabuki career and makes a name for himself without money, the aid of the troupe, or the family name.

So, most of his battles is going to be while he’s in Kabuki attire. He can’t afford normal clothes at the moment. He’s staying at a poor Japanese family’s home. He’s not exactly a fighter since he’s more of an entertainer, but because he sometimes took on a role as a samurai, he is somewhat trained in swordfighting. He has a pretty lean and cut body, since he was so self-conscious of his image. He also has a shamisen (a Japanese banjo-type thing), a fan, and prayer beads. Though… Those three items aren’t really weapons, he uses them, somehow.

He tries to make a story or an act out of each battle to focus on the Kabuki arts and improve his skills. Plus, it makes it more interesting, no?

He’s still arrogant and self-absorbed. But he’s trying his hardest to change. Old habits die hard though. Once he affords normal clothes, he goes to parties every now and again.

Sooo… What do you think? Does it seem alright?

Today’s the annual pumpkin carving contest in the neighborhood. The neighborhood website owner guy should be there, so maybe I should present myself as the person who offered to revamp the website. Speaking of pumpkin carving, what kind of pumpkin am I gonna carve this time?

Or do I even want to bother? No one really comes down this street (I don’t know why) and I won’t even be home for Halloween.

I think I have homework.

Lined Up Bottles

Ugh. This week has just sucked. The only thing that made me happy was my conversation with Luciole (Haha, man, so much fun) and putting Toro from Doko Demo Issyo on my cell phone. X3 He’s so cute.

That and playing on Lightside Legend RO. It’s a huge server and it’s 13/13/5. It’s alright. Remaking Oolong was kinda fun. But damnit, I can’t kill everything with ease anymore. And my gear sucks. Oh well.

I put that shit on toast.

My mom is such a psycho. She thinks I’m living under “unhealthy conditions”. My house is known as the clean one among my friends.

Man, I can’t stand her.

She’s threatening to get a social worker here to declare it as a place that you cannot live in. I dared her to do it. The social worker’s just gonna give my mom a weird look and then I’ll argue that she needs a shrink. Or a mental hospital.
