SWEET
28 09 2006Ahahaha, I had the best school day ever. Well… No, not the best school day, really.
Anyway, Sandy cancelled English, so I just wandered around aimlessly for a while. It was Transfer Day, so there were a bunch of graduate colleges with their own tables, trying to advertise their school. I called Danielle and so she came up to where I was and we walked around, looking at colleges. Well, mostly me looking at colleges because she wasn’t really interested in any of the colleges there and there were some awesome art schools. And then we saw the University of Phoenix had chocolate on their table, so we mosied over there and pretended to be interested. But the lady knew we were only there for the chocolate. She asked what our major was so that she could explain what their program is like. Danielle said she had no idea and I’m in art. XD The lady was like, “Umm… Well, we don’t do art, we do more business…” I replied, “Well, for chocolate, I might just change my major…” And then Danielle was like, “I never really considered a college in Arizona, but if there’s chocolate…” XD The lady explained that there’s a TON of University of campuses all over California. Which really doesn’t make any sense whatsoever… Apparently, they’re the largest university in the world. But it’s not really that impressive because most of their students take the online courses…
I visited the CCA (California College of the Arts) booth and it was pretty tight. I got a bunch of pamphlets and filled out the information card, even though I already get their catalogues and info in the mail… XD I was surprised to see there is an animation major because when CCA visited the high school, they didn’t have an animation department, which was a major reason in why I didn’t really look into CCA. But goddamnit, they have it now. D: Should’ve told me earlier.
Then I visited the FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising). Hilda goes there. I’ve always been interested in fashion. Like seriously, I would really want to start my own line of clothes which is kinda like boys style clothing, but fitted and marketed for girls. Cuz seriously, I find so many awesome shirts, but they’re for guys, so it doesn’t fit well. It really pisses me off. I mean, I love the length of guys’ shirts, but they’re not tight around the body and I hate that. And what I hate about girls’ shirts is the sleeve is so goddamn short! I like a little bit of length in sleeves. Plus, the frikkin shirt material is SO thin. It really does bug me because I extremely hate it when you can see the bra’s shape through the shirt. And I love shorts, but all the shorts that they sell for girls is the slutty short shorts. :( I went off on a tangent right there. So yeah, FIDM. The lady was so ecstatic about it and she kept talking to Danielle about FIDM, but she was just standing behind me while I was filling out the information card. XD I got a ton of pamphlets and a catalogue from that.
Afterwards, Danielle had to go to class, so I went to the Media Lab where I chatted it up with a couple of people. Khoi came by and we talked about school for a while. He was planning to ditch Sociology class. Then I chatted more and then the dude next to me told me he was having trouble with Microsoft Word. I guess he overheard me and Khoi’s conversation about the new laptop he got and thought I was good with the computer. I am, but I’m no expert, so I tried my best to help out. The problem was, he was trying to spellcheck, but it wouldn’t recognize ANY misspelled word because it said it skipped the words on the skip words list. So I set the spellcheck back to default, which reset the skip words list. But it was still saying nothing was spelled wrong. So it was probably something wrong with that computer. :(
I chatted more and then I really didn’t feel like going to tennis cuz English was cancelled, I just wanted to chill. I took a survey on AIM and asked people if I should ditch or not. I only had one unsure/no answer, so I ditched. I went to find Khoi cuz I remembered he said he was ditching too. So I found him and we walked around aimlessly and decided to go eat lunch.
He was in Japan over the summer, so he said he missed the food. So I said we could go eat at the restaurant my dad works at because we could get the hook-ups. So he said, “YEAH!” We went down there and my dad was really surprised. He asked how school was and I was like, “Uhh… It was good. :D *Mutter*I totally ditched tennis though…” We only ordered California Rolls, but then the waiters kept bringing other dishes. XD I guess we were getting a service. It was really good. Khoi was so happy. He was like, “I can die happy today…” XD Hahaha, but he decided that he doesn’t want to die because he wants to come back and eat more. And it was so tight because it was FREE. Woo!!! The best kind of lunch that there is.
Khoi forgot about our wheatgrass shot Tuesdays, so we changed it to today. We went to Jamba Juice and ordered our usual 2 oz. wheatgrass shot. When you buy that stuff, you HAVE to buy a Jamba Juice with it. Because wheatgrass just has this disgusting gross taste and it remains in your mouth unless you get a Jamba. I got Sunrise Strawberry and he got Bright-Eyed Blueberry cuz I recommended it. We downed out wheatgrass which that cute guy served us. He has the same wheatgrass religion, so we share our religion with him. He’s pretty tight. I don’t know his name though. XDD Some lady thought we were crazy for drinking wheatgrass. She’s like, “Why don’t you go outside and eat grass?!” What an imbecile… It’s not the same kind of grass, duh. But anyway, we were “drunk” off of the wheatgrass, so we sat outside and talked with our Jambas. However, Khoi’s Bright-Eyed Blueberry really lacked in blueberries, so I traded with him. We talked for a bit and pretended we were drunk off of the wheatgrass shots. Then we went home and now I could use a nap.
:) What an awesome day.
